An extra absorbent gauze covered cotton pad sewn on to a cotton bandage makes this dressing very useful in a first aid situation. Used to apply direct pressure to a wound to stop bleeding. Sterile dressing pad with bandage, suitable for use by first aiders, paramedics, emergency services and emergency response teams (ERT).
The thicker sterile absorbent non-adherent dressing pad along with the roller bandage stop heavy bleeding to start the healing process.
